tax complications?

hi what are the tax implications if any, on having a uk bank account still open when you have moved to oz?
does it complicate things

I think on another thread they said just say you`re not in the country anymore and your bank account get`s tax-free interest.

You just need to declare any Interest, in your Australian Tax Return, so it can be taxed here

Don't know about the tax issues but was wondering where you're flying from as we're flying out to bris on the 4th too!
