Default Tasmania Bound

hello

we are heading for Tasmania after 3 years of waiting for our visa!!! An advice on shipping companies, schools, pets, rentals, cars etc. would be great.
We realise we have to start again and look forward to the challenges ahead. Any advice would be appreciated

Take your winter clothes is freezing there
Car's anything Toyota, depending on how large your family is.
Schools would depend on where you're heading to wouldn't it?
We used Crown to ship our stuff over, but recommend get lots of quotes in as they can vary an awful lot.

Where are you moving to in Tasmania? I'm heading down to Geeveston in 2 weeks. We've been working through schools, cars, removals and other related issues over the last few weeks. It hasn't been overly difficult, just lots of things to consider. There are some very good threads on this forum with loads of helpful advice. Happy to help where I can.
