I can understand about the tortoise. My Granny has one - I loved it when I was a kid. It was called Fred then she discovered it was a girl so now it's Freda.

Just don't let Mr Nibbles hear you planning his new zoo experience - when we found out we couldn't take Sonny the fish (yes, my partner made me ask - it's only from NZ he figured 3 hours in a carry tank was fine) we started to search out new parents for him. Three days later Sonny was belly up... we think he knew. Either that or it was a Nemo like ruse to stop ending up with my friends daughter - hmmmm, now I'm regretting the sudden garden related ceremony!
