I'm concerned because we will have a 3-month-old baby with us this time, and obviously we don't want him passive-smoking. Could we all perhaps agree not to smoke in our area? Those who want a gasper can nip off to the bar or garden, maybe. We'd appreciate it. :) Looking forward to meeting some new people! Jen & Dave The Quays- I've been to several parties there and another internet forum meet and its never been smokey, there is a garden and doors opening out onto the lake so it should be ok. If No1 daughter comes she said she'd look after the little ones - she could walk the baby or go to the garden/playground? look forward to hearing your news. Helen |

Hi Helen & All
Thanks for a lovely afternoon, it was really nice to meet you all. The photo's came out great, I have a problem with putting them onto the photo gallery, it says its not yet set up to accept my type of package, I have Kodak Share. I then tried to post them individually on the threads, but it says its too big, my photo's are approx 624 K and I think you can only put 39 k on. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I can't figure out how to resize them. Thanks Helen for organising, it was a great turnout Julia |

do the restrictions apply to the PHOTOPOST area as well. could you not post them in there ? the quickest / dirtiest way to reduce the file size of the pics is to reduce the actual physical size of the picture. open in MSPAINT, from the menu choose [IMAGE], [STRETCH/SKEW] and try reducing the size of the pics. this may help. I use a 5 mega pixel camera that creates an original image around 2.5MB in size and I can reduce them to 1 5th of this just by reducing the image to 80%. great day today, good to talk you guys, good luck and keep us all posted. :) |
