Smile Surrey meet

There seems to be a few Surrey people around the forum so we thought a meet would be good.
Lets start by sorting out a good time and day.

Saturdays or Sundays
day time - bring kids
- or evening
Sun Oct 31st
Sat 6th Nov
Sun 7th Nov
Sat20th
Sun 21st
Where would you like to meet up?
I'm open to suggestions, a pub or Harvester/ Beefeater,
Hunters Lodge A322 good food- or the Pirbright version The moorhen.
Fire awayon here or PM me if you'd prefer to.
Helen

The Hunters Lodge is OK but the Moorhen went down hill a couple of years ago, maybe it's improved since then. We prefer the Royal Oak or Worplesdon Place. Oct 31st sounds good, we could make it a haloween thing . I'd prefer daytime so I could bring the kids.

Hi Hx

Our eldest has an apprenticeship in Wall & Floor Tiling, he is currently away at college in Nottingham. The 14 year old has just started Year 10 and is at Easthampstead Park in Bracknell.

Are your children happy to be going? They are at a difficult age at the moment, my 17 year old says he will go and give it his best, but will return if not happy. My 14 year old can't wait.

Look forward to meeting you all

Julia

We went to the Royal Oak last night but they don't let kids in the main bar (which is most of it). We had to sit in a little area with just 4 tables, no heating and right by the door that kept coming open on its own! Not too impressed. Maybe the Huntsmans Lodge would be better.

Dave.

Thought I would bump this back to the top in case some Surrey/Berkshire peeps had missed it.

Sun 31st October sounds good for us. When a venue has been decided could someone pm us with directions.

Thanks

HI, I know that they are used to largish groups at Hunters lodge(A322 near Sainsburys Brookwood) so I could reserve a whole alcove area. Please let me know how many from each family. Thanks

Hi Guys

Regarding the time how about 12 O'clock midday, does this sound ok.

We have another family would like to join us Pogsy and they are from Bracknell too.

I telephoned the hunters lodge I'm waiting for the manager to reply- apparently the bar man didn't think they reserved tables. But I'll ask for 12noon when he phones me
NO problem with another family- will be great to meet them.
please give me an idea of how many people are coming thanks
