Hi,

Slightly different but I had to prove I have sole responsibility for my son and DIAC accepted a sworn affidavit witnessed by my solicitor cost £175. No other documents required.

Alternatively, what about a letter from your son's teacher/head teacher confirming that you his next of kin and they deal with you regularly or a letter from your GP confirming you deal with all medical care.

If you are in the UK you can also show evidence that child benefit or any other benefit is paid to you. There is also the option of copies of receipts from your child care provider if applicable.

Hope this helps,

Anne
