Oh yeah there is!!! Tim Tams with the very ends bitten off and one end dipped into Baileys and the other end in your mouth sucking the Baileys through it!! Then you eat the Baileys soaked Tim Tam!!! Sensational!!! Or try the same with a Chocolate Teddy bear biccy!! You nibble off one ear and then the foot on the opposite side and suck through the Baileys...other wise known as a Drunken Teddy!! :D |
Re: Supermarkets!!!!
Interestingly we went shopping this morning & I started counting types of biscuits in the biscuit aisle. I gave up at 49 - I had only gotten to the second metal thing that holds the shelves up & there were 16 of them to the other end of the aisle. :scared:

The thing thats gets me is that some people appear to want a England in the sun, from my experience here - although limited as I have only been here for 4 months - I am aware that Australia has it's own lifestyle, attitude and culture - one that I like very much. Things are different here - whether it be work or going shopping (like assistants who smile and pack your bags) - and if you are not willing to embrace these differences then you may be unsettled and homesick. So what if you cannot get certain things -I have found there is always an alternative............ |
