Their info on the Web site states that the updrade is complete, which as I point out to them it is not as I can't access my account.

Next step for me is to complain to the regulators and move to another fund. The have one more week.

This is a disturbing course of events. I will have to investigate fully.

Thanks for the heads up...

No Problem. It's been me against them for the past few month it will be good to have someone to compare notes with.

If you are a contractor working through your own company then your employer wouldn't bother with super as you would invoice them as a client and you can choose whether you want super or not.

Super is only compulsory for employees and not the self-employed, which the majority of contractors are.

OK, I followed this up and you're right - My account isn't available either. I called the line, and the guy swore blue that there were still upgrades going on.

Where did you find the page that states the upgrade is complete? I can't find it...

There are still upgrades going on but the web site says it's complete. As them for a balance and they won't be able to give an accurate one over the phone, it takes 5 days. I got mine in writing. It's only a balance though and not a statement. They can't provide this at the moment.

I put in a complaint. I have to wait for 90 days which is up next week (still not heard a thing), after which I can complaing to the regulator, which I will be doing.

I'm going to move mine on Monday. Just set one up with Australian Super, I've filled in the forms. One more call to Virgin on Monday to give them one last opportunity and then I'm outta there.

They are doing a data migration. As I'm in the business I know what they are doing. However it's not normal to suppress accounts when you are doing it.

Hope this helps. If you need any further info just ask. If you have any info then I would appreciate hearing it.
