In most of these areas I am not getting the feel of the" Australian" way of life, the houses are all so cramped together plus if you do find a nice one they will not allow the bloody pets. Spoke to a English lady in Pelican Waters who said Mountain Creek school was good but would not want to live there, Why! maybe its because she lives in Pelican waters and waxed lyrical about it?
Did not help also when the company that brought us out here have been crap and not quite living up to their promises of help. So ladies I am a desperate absolutely pissed of housewife with no home, Help me please

Mountain creek is fine, houses range from high 300's to 600's . Its a slightly older suburb but plenty of new estates have been put in there too. Pelican waters does not appeal to everyone either its a bit of a rabbit warren type design giving the feeling of being in a a maze of tiny streets, just a huge housing estate, but majority of the homes are new, so has that florida resort look. That does seem to appeal to the english, another one is perigian springs, very florida resort. Just visit both and see what appeals to you.

One minor note when picking a property: Any place that ends in 'Waters' or 'Springs' has usually been adapted from marshland, and therefore is usually teeming with mosquito life...

Just something I heard through people I know, and from the local council where I work.

Don't get me wrong, I have driven round such areas - Pelican Waters, Peregian Springs, Twin Waters etc - And they look like nice areas. The mosquito thing was just one thing I have heard from a few people. Please don't think I was putting your area down; I was just warning people who have bad reactions to mosquito bites like I do!
