If you are looking for a base so you can go and look at areas in the south east then it would be ok. If you were looking at having a fantastic relaxing holiday with strolls out to nearby cafes and eateries I'd think again.

Luckily we got rented sorted out quickly so it wasn't for long. There are also places that will do holiday lettings, cottage types. These are often around the Dandenong Ranges or Phillip Island way.
Any estate agent recommendations greatly rec'd!!!!

We rented through Barry Plant and they were fantastic. They got us a place on a 6 month rental which was allowed pets. When we moved out we was expecting them to go through the place with a fine tooth comb but they were very relaxed. Our bond was sent back to us within days even though the dog had nibbled a little of the kitchen and there were finger marks from kids all over! all they said was that they expect all properties to have a touch up coat done before re-letting anyway.
