stopover in Bangkok

stopover in Bangkok
Anyone else flying out next week and stopping over in Bangkok?
I booked my ticket weeks ago and decided to halve the journey,seems i`ve missed the volcano saga but jumped straight into the frying pan!

Thailand is always in a state of semi-strife. Normally I wouldn't think twice about going to Bangkok anyway but it's different this time.
Many airlines have policies in place if you no longer wish to travel...if you're concerned perhaps give the airline a call and see if they can ticket you straight through. Or, depending on how long you have book a cheap connection to somewhere less volatile...Phuket, Samui etc and spend a couple of days there instead.
