Stop-over between Sydney and Surfers?
Hello all,
We are moving out a week tomorrow (yikes!) to Brisbane and are looking for somewhere nice to stop over on our drive up from Sydney to Surfers Paradise. Can anyone recommend a nice hotel/place to stay preferably a few hours north of Sydney? The company are paying so budget is not a major consideration!

Hi, not sure if this will help you but we liked Port Macquarie, but we did stay in the YHA's so can't really help with accomodation.

Should probably have been clearer that looking at stopping somewhere max 4 hours north of Sydney maybe Myall lakes or nearby?
