Default STNI Victoria Sponsorship/ Nomination

Has anybody else noticed that Victoria seem to be taking along time getting back to people on whether their prepared to nominate/ sponsor them under a STNI visa ?

My wifes a pre-primary school teacher and has been waiting since beginning of Feb.

Any comments ?

That does seem a bit longer than one might expect, but I know that there are seasonal variations and as it happens I do understand informally that they are particularly busy at the moment, so don't give up hope yet.

Have you obtained clearance from the Victorian Institute of Teaching as well Scott? I believe VIT approval/clearance is a requirement of the State Nomination in VIC for teachers.

From the forms sent through by Victoria, VIT are only involved in secondary education posts.(?)
