Have a look at Koala homes

or try Here for luxury apartments in the centre. We fly a week on Monday and are staying at the above (Quest).

Mike.

if you are looking for just a self-catering type place near the city, there are loads of motels at Kangaroo Point (25 mins walk round the cliffs and over the bridge to the cbd, 10 mins to the ferry, or about 10 mins on a bus to the city.) You should try www.paramountmotel.com.au or www.kangaroopoint.com.au (the paramount is a little nearer the city than the kangaroo point. Both have reasonable rates (about $440 for a week for the apartment.) Its obviously alot cheaper to do this than go to a hotel. There are restaurants and shops nearby for you to get supplies.

When you arrive at the airport, walk straight ahead past baggage collection, and on your left ther is a desk for transfers to the city. Its about $10 each and they take you straight to your accomodation (as long as its relatively central) along with all your bags. Zero hassles.

Don't worry that your not in the 'comfort and security' of a package holiday, its much more fun when you have to use your savvy a little and arent being shuffled around by some rep. If you have any questions just ask!

Hi all, we are at Changai airport waiting for flight to BRisbane. We have booked with Koala Homes arriving tonight. They have been very helpful, look at their website.
