Time to get my stat decs done for my defacto visa and would like to know if anyone can tell me what needs to be in the stat decs??

How much detail to go into and what our friends should put in theres also.

When it comes to write out your details of your work you have to put everything in.

I am a hairdresser and when i wrote out mine i had to put everything in from hair pins to perm papers (did not think i would need to put things like that in)smallest details.

I even had to put in that i had to sweep hair up.

Are you doing it yourself or are you going through an agent.

we worked through each year of our relationship from the early 1990s eg

1994
where and how we met.
what we did
how we made our realtionship work over the distance

1995
holidays
movie tickets (yes i do keep all that crap)
emergence of feelings for each other
changes we both made in order to fit in with each others lives

etc for each year..... it gave us both a genreal guideline as we werent quite sure where to start otherwise! We also scanned 2 A4 pages worth of photos and sent them aswell. a really good point was that oliver and i wrote our defacto statements independently... we both sat at the computer on our own and typed. Afterwards it was really interesting to see the differet things we both remembered and treasure as important memories.
