starting your business infos, anyone?
Hi!
I'm planning on starting my business once in Melbourne (fingers crossed
).
Has anyone found any good info on the subject, about taxes, government help, business plan, anything? I guess my status would be free lance (I'm not planning on employing anyone yet).

I worked for myself when I was over there as well as for an employer. I have been back in UK for 3 years now and have only worked for myself here. When I get back to OZ will work until I get accomodation again then I will be working for myself 100'/. I am setting up a web site and will be selling from that too. I also sell on ebay and have established myself on there and will be doing that on the side. I have a friend who sells on OZ ebay and he does ok with it. If you want any help or info keep in touch via PM.

Found this great link today http://www.business.vic.gov.au/
They have links to other sites giving information about buying your business or having a home-based business. Also infos on import/export and Victoria's economics and key sectors.
