Spoken to the emmigration group who are dealing with my application.There only used to be 8 staff dealing with visa applications in the UK, this I found hard to beleive but one of their staff used to work for the Embassy. Since independent applications now have to be made to Adelaide they have cut the staff to 4. The worry is if IT which have priority and working visas are still going through London, those of us that lodged a skilled independent before Nov may be in for a long wait.
My application went in Nov 2000.
I hope I am wrong any thoughts?
