Heres hoping the footy never becomes as boring as soccer or has the crowd problems. The Melbourne paper also added that this so called fan was "touched up" by other Richmond supporters before police got him.

Bulldogs fans gave us crowd violence last month at Aussie Stadium. There is still a long way to go before the stadiums become like a weekend football match in the UK.

If you see a photo of a Richmond fan waving a wooden spoon at the players in the paper (its been everywhere) - that fan is the brother of one of my best mates in school. Bloody hilarious! Two more ardent Richmond fans you are unlikely to find!

I admire the soccer crowds for their support when the team is losing - 'we'll support you evermore' etc. One rumour has it that our Bulldogs ex coach 'Plough' Wallace could be lined up to replace 'Spud'. OzTennis
