for all thoses that are interested, the springfield meet wil be this sunday 12th july, at 2.00pm in the springfield lakes tavern,, all are welcome, and hope you can make it, on the list so far are:

me, karen,kids
jay, vicky and a few other familys that they are dragging along.

... my only concern with The Tavern is its location, if everyone who is going lives in Springfield Lakes it means they either have a long walk or now have to drive... (also, we don't have kids at the moment, but most parents like the Springlake Hotel due to the kids area they have there.)

Just a thought...

... confused now

The Tavern is in Springfield Fair where Coles, Post Office and Dominos Pizza are.

Springlake Hotel is by McDonalds and the big lake.

I don't know where everyone lives but I would guess people live closer to the hotel than the Tavern...

yep,, sorry about that,it is a hotel and not a tavern, its always stuck in my head thats its a tavern may be because they called it a tavern when it was being built,, the meeting is at 2.00pm at the springfield lakes hotel,, seeya there,peter...

... probably best to just turn left as soon as you enter the hotel where all the red sofas are and opposite the outdoor smoking area at the front of the hotel...

having finally got internet access , I came across this post , we are a family of 4 (me , the hubby and 2 girls 11 & 9) and have been here for almost 12weeks. we are interested in coming along to the meet at Springfield - hope no-one minds - we live in Ipswich and would love to meet up with more people.

We'd like to come along too. We've been here in Springfield Lakes since September 2008 (although Ally grew up here) and both work as teachers in local schools. However, just got off a plane from the UK Saturday morning so will have to see how the jet lag's going.
