Default Spouse Visa - how long does it take?

I was just wondering what people's experience has been on the processing time for a Spouse Visa.

I know they say up to 4 months on the website - but it also says up to 6 months processing time for getting a certificate for evidence of Australian Citizenship and it took me 10.5 months to get mine!

Most have it in less than 4 months as far as I know. Some even in MUCH less than 4.

There was a poll done by WBB about this a while back. He has been waiting exceptionally long, and I don't think it's near 4 months yet!
I'll have a look for the poll for you....

Thanks

I'm only new to the Forum so I think the poll was well before my time - I'll do a search as well and see what I can find.

Seems to be pretty quick at the moment.

If its not a complicated case and its front loaded they have been coming back within a few days.

On average I would say a few weeks is a good guess.
