Does anyone else find that the stress of the whole moving process is setting off major arguments with your partner over trivial things?

At this rate it will be a miracle if we actually stay married!

I don't know whether you read any of my chat with Bondipom from 3 0 clock on Saturday morning - but hubby and I did more argueing on Friday than we have in the whole of our marriage. 22 years.
I tell you something - we will definately not be coming back here, the marriage wouldn't take this stress and hassle twice.

Try having an argument by text message when you are 11,000 miles apart! Gets a bit frustrating! I'm saying that I've dropped a hammer on my foot,the loo is leaking, the curtain rail has fallen down,and I'm fed up with being the one doing all the work! He meanwhile is moaning that when he goes to a race meeting next week he might get the wrong size shirt!
ARGH!! And thats BEFORE we are married!

I think I'm a lot luckier than a lot of you though, simply because I only have me to move - I really feel for people like Tinaj with a houseful of gear, and 3 kids,to move. And I was only renting the flat too, so I don't have to worry about selling. So that makes it a bit easier - though it would be nice to have someone here to get stressed with, I must say!!

When it starts happening it goes so quick. Not great for the stress levels but once you are on that plane it is a huge weight off your back.

I think I was too busy being hungover to get into arguments. Too much celebrating and last nights with different people. Fortunately the flight was quite late so I had recovered and Cathay were offering perfect hair of the dog.

I bet you know nothing about arguments yet, try this, Pommie couple, both keen as mustard to emigrate, she arrives Loathes it from the first month, he thinks it the Bees bloody knees, kids well it 2 for 1 against. Hes now trying to keep the kids in OZ, shes been back twice and both now have lawyers. Just to add to it her mother is coming out to er "help sort it out".
