John boy, I find it hard to believe that Roy was speeding. I have travelled many times with him and he definetly drives like our dad. Come to think of it, so do I.

It was on Australia Day a few years back and i believe "Double De-Merits" at the time also. And yes you do drive like the Old Man, I have to keep reminding you modern cars have 5 gears now, Next you will knocking the car out of gear and coasting downhill , I know your hearing is going but the dogs can hear you miles away:D

I was on holiday in queensland in august and I have been back for nearly 4 weeks when a letter came through saying i had been caught speeding by a speed camera, apparently i was doing 146 in a 100 limit, the fine was 700 dollors, what would happen if i dont pay it, as i dont remember doing that sort of speed when out there.

Cheers:curse:

I asked this in another thread, but didn't get a response of someones actual experience :

I think I've jumped through the redlight camera on Bermuda Street.

How long before the ticket / fine turns up in the post.

Please someone tell me they are always out of film !! (lol)

Does anyone know if they are digital, or if you can hope for the film to have run out ??

Alan.

Not sure about Qld, but here in WA you will probably wait months to get your ticket sent to you in the mail. It's a pretty good guess that the camera will be digital, too.
