Default Social Tutor

Hi, can anyone tell me what the job prospects are like in Perth for my wife as a social tutor, not sure what the equivalent job title is in oz. A social tutor cares for deaf, blind, mentally handicapped, she has british sign language level 1 and NVQ level 4 in management/healthcare, any advise on salary would be appreciated, many thanks in advance, regards, Stuart

To speak sign language here in Australia she will need to learn Auslan. Here she would be a "carer". Take a look on www.seek.com.au or www.careerone.com.au for allied health jobs. If she works with children she can also take a look at employment opportunities with Princess Margaret Hospital. www.jobs.wa.gov.au is the site for gov't jobs.
