However!!! Hubby is concerned when we do have our medicals, him having the snip already at 32 could go against him as he is unable to produce more children and only has one?
With the Aussie Govt being keen to increase the population, could this go against us?
Do you have declare this in your medical? :scared:
Hubby had the snip at about 25 and it was never even mentioned. Maybe they looked at him and thought that the snip was for the best

my hubby enquired about it here when he was 29 and apparently they only like to do it when you're 30 (maybe just local policy) so.....having it at 32 should be fine. We most definitely have not fulfilled the Australian Dream (4+ kids) and only have one more than you OP.

However, everyone knows when you have the 'snip' you will stand out from the crowd and never be able to grow a 'mullet'. :scared:

Cheers

Oh Yeah

And 3 years after the 'snip' you also develop 'man boobs' and resemble pammy anderson on the beach when your jogging.

cheers [/QUOTE]

No.
My husband had the snip at 26 after two kids. This will not go against you. They don't, and can't take into account of any possible contributions to the oz population. They would have to screen everyone for infertility and make them sign a contract to reproduce. I can't see that being a popular move!

And if you think about it, they could only possibly object if you were *both* incapaple of reproducing again. Which, unless you've *both* been sterilised, isn't the case...

In any event, having kids is the most personal of decisions and there is no way they could discriminate against you on the grounds of *not* adding further to the world's population.
