Has anybody on here set up their own SMSF and got QROPS accreditation? Did you do it yourself, and what pitfalls should I look out for?

Yes but I would not have done this without both financial advice for both UK and OZ and paying a specialist to draw up the Trust Deed There is also the need for ongoing annual audits that report back to HMRC. It is not cheap but it is worth it for our situation. The potential for a large tax bill due to a DIY error is huge. I would get advice on whether to do it and then get someone else to do the paperwork.
