A tad annoying !!

We managed to get the 40KGs allowance last year with Sing. Airlines on a 4 year 457 temporary visa. You shouldn't have a problem because you have the magic words "Holder permitted to remain in Aust indefinitely". Just give them a call, (we called their head office in London), explain the situation, and you should find they'll help you out.

Just make sure you get it in writing..! One last thing, because of our direct approach, they gave us guaranteed extra leg room seats (we didn't even ask for this!)
