Signs & Graphics On Gold/Sunny Coast
Hi all
I am moving out to the gold or sunshine coast in queensland as soon as my visas arrive, probabley jan/feb 2005 and will be looking for work in the sign trade. has any body got an insight into the sign trade. anything will do, type of jobs, what wages & condition to expect.
comon members, i have com up with zero so far.

Hi Glen
Have you looked on the jobs sites like career one.
I can remeber doing a search for Graphic Design/Pre Press and there being a few sign trade jobs.

An uncle of my best mate emgrated to Oz many moons ago and he has set up his own signs and grpahics company in Brisbane serving the Gold Coast.
He does the Artwork and his collegue does the (neon) lighting and they are very very succesful. They one some big contracts for the casinos there I believe.
I can maybe get his contact details for you but it will take sometime.
However, in reality as the Gold Coast is seeminglt one big neon sign board I think you will have no end of opportunity in the region.
