should we take bank statements, bills etc..?
Just trying to sort the study out today in anticipation of lots of house viewings (!!! 
) & was wondering what paperwork I can happily feed to the shredder?
What sort of proof of ID & addresses (& how far back?) did you need to sort out contracts with utility companies & to set up bank accounts, mobile phones etc?!

yes it is a good idea,if you want to rent a house it will help if you have some previous bills and statments,and if you can get them some references from your neighbours saying what a bad nieghbour you are

I agree with Scissors, bring anything that has a £ sign a POSTCODE and your name and address ON !

also birth certificates and proof of a aussie bank account,and if you can get a reference from someone living in australia it goes down well
