Short term rental
We are moving over in July August 2011, dates to be confirmed. Has anyone got or know anybody with a renatl property furnished for a short term lease (approx 6 weeks) prior to our cargo arriving.
Somewhere commutable to Mother Mater Hosp? and surrounding areas. We are looking at areas to long term rent once we arrive and are so far favouring Mansfield.

I have a couple of places in Redland Bay which might be suitable for you. Lots of people commute from the Bayside area to the Mater. I often have people from the UK staying for a month or more.

What type of rental are you looking for? I'm also from Ireland and living in Brisbane, but we live on the Northside. There are lots of short term apartments in the city that are quite reasonable, but if you're migrating with a family in tow and looking for a house then you might consider some of the accommodation providers posting on this forum or listed here www.seqrents.com.au.
