Default Short term accommodation in Melbourne required

Hello Again

i am still looking for some short term accommodation for when we arrive.(2 adults and a 4 year old)

We are aiming to arrive in Melbourne on or around the 11/09/09, we would prefer something close to central Melbourne (upto $900 a week) for around 4 weeks.

i have looked at the Moving to Melbourne website but alot of those properties seem to be farther out.

i did find somewhere ideal but that has since been booked (all because our house sale that should have had is contracts exchanged last week was delay whilst there solicitor had a long weekend)

thanks in advance

Unfortunately for city furnished rental accommodation the prices are usually $200 upwards per night. You have the Quest at Southbank http://www.questsouthbank.com.au/ind...roperty.2.html but their prices start at $325 per night for a 1 bed apartment, although they sometimes have package deals which reduces the price a little.
I think our cheapest one in the city is $750 per week but isn't available for your dates, sorry.
