Re: Shipping our Doggies
Hya, no problems at all, he coped absolutely fine with the flight and then did his "time" in quarantine fine too, although he had always gone into kennels since being a puppy to get him used to it so think that helped a lot, I was worried he would be bothered by the heat but we arrived in September when it wasnt hot and by the time it got warmer he just adapted gradually to it, he loves it here and thoroughly enjoys his daily walks on the beach.

Hya, I used to work in Boarding kennels and we often got people who would ask their friends or relatives to call in and see their pets while they were with us and it would stress some of the dogs out to be left again when they thought they were being collected, it all depends on the dog to be honest and added to the fact we would have had to take our kids with us each time we visited we decided it would be too stressful for the dog and the kids to leave him each time so we got a dogwalking company in who visited and exercised him and sent us photos of how he was getting on, it was perfect for us as we could see how he was but he didnt get stressed out seeing us, he was in Byford quarantine in Perth and he hadnt lost any weight and looked great when we picked him up, we got a huge welcome when we went to collect him, he doesnt seem affected by the experience at all and thoroughly enjoys his life here.
