Nope, no boxes!

Well, its pink and its a chair, but no its not mine (phew!!!).

Bondi is now nominated for Depression-causer of the week award!! I shall pin my hopes on Cresta's post - their stuff came in 3 days before the bulk of mine, so i might get at leat some of it next week......maybe......

I don't care about insurance, it wouldn't help much.
I'm most worried about photo albums, old school work, things I made at school, birthday presents.............
At least I'm nearly done scanning in all our photo's!!!! And copies will be carried in luggage, handluggage, Ipod, and also left with parents here!

Michaela is paniking cos of the crap service I have had from ***** ******** - my removers subcontracted the actual shipping to them; they gave me the wrong name of the ship, wrong arrival date and wrong agent details in Oz; Then on the day the real ship docked in Brissie they told me that they had "forgotten" to load 3 of my 42 boxes, and these were on the next ship. Then they said they were still in the UK, then they admitted they don't know where they are. Nor can they tell me which 3 are missing. The rest is stuck in a customs backlog and may clear next week, then I will know what I've lost.
OSS in Bris took 3 weeks to get an answer out of AP as to what happened to the boxes, AP said they think they are on a ship, but don't know what container they are in. We just have to wait and see if three boxes turn up one day with my name on - there is no paperwork with them, they are just stuffed in a container with someone elses goods.

But don't let me put you off using them....

sorry for delay in replying but Pollyanna summed it up. Unfortunately I left it too late to change, no-one else could fit us in on the date we needed but I would have gone with someone else not only because they lost Pollyannas stuff but also because of the way they've dealt with her since.
I'll let you know if our experience is any better but I'm not holding my breath!

You do realise every pom with shipping in transit is going to be crapping themselves especially the ones too tight fisted to get full insurance cover !

Sh*t happens and it would have probably happened to us if we didn't insure of stuff!
