If you go with Crown, your goods presumably will be unpacked by Crown in Sydney, which is an excellent outfit (crew and office), based on my experience of shipping out of Sydney.

Hi everyone, interesting reading the different quotations, we are moving from the Isle of Wight to Cairns in June. We selected Pickfords on recomendations there quotation was a much of a muchness with others so we went with them, although we were suprised at all the hidden costs we were not made aware of at the time. We had a sole use 20ft container our quote was just under £5000 but this did not include insurance this was an additional £1220 on top so will be looking elsewhere for that now. Our belongings are in storage with them waiting our departure and I must say the removal men were faultless with the packing but we have had nothing but problems trying to deal with their offices they are not the most helpfull.
It seems that all the companies are about the same in the service they offer but it is the insurance which is most important, especially as most people we talk to have had to make a claim of some kind.
We would also appreciate any recomendations on a good insurance company to use.
