All the independents have done (including Wilkie) is to add extra policy and confirm they will support supply, and not support frivolous no-confidence motions. Other than that, they've said they will vote how they like.

Well one side gets to ride in government cars and the other side gets to take the bus.
The govenment will have to be carefull not to piss the indies off but there are not too many wedge issues, they have the numbers to win a mining tax vote for example.

Supply is the flow of money from treasury to projects. One tactic is for independents/oppositions to block supply, so that even though the policy may exist, the flow of money to them doesn't.
That is my interpretation of it anyway.

Confidence = wont support a no confidence motion (vote to throw out the government)
