hi all
ive heard you can send boxs to aus rather than a container, are these wood crates and any ideas of size and cost roughly, or can anyone recomend a shipper.

Traditionally they were wood yes. However, these days they are cardboard boxes of roughly the same size.
IIRC thay are called "pack 2's"

I can recommend Pickfords. We have used them a few times and nothing has ever been damaged.

Cheers

I can recommend Atlantic International Movers, we haven't shipped alot of big things to oz such as washers etc, only essential stuff such as bed linen, cutlery, crockery, towels, cups, glasses, but even so, we filled 17 plastic 80 litre tubs.

We had a quote from them for £750 pounds for 20 tea chests or 100 cubic feet container space

They were efficient and packed them well and we found them really good!
