Default sending post to OZ

hi all,

has anyone experienced any slow post to OZ since xmas?

my PCC was sent on 25th Jan and as yet we have no confirmation it has arrived in OZ - maybe its went AWOL!! its the last thing that i needed to send as well which makes the waiting even harder - it was all going so well !!

Used international signed for service via "the Post Office" in the uk but still no word.

just thought i would ask incase of a common scenario.

Gina,

you can only track it until it leaves the UK.The post office website is where the tracking facility is and you use the reference number on your receipt to do this. I was told by a "customer adviser" that i could track it into Oz via the Auspost website, but this is not the case - i should of known!! otherwise i was contacting my agent in OZ to confirm they had received the paperwork.

hi marc

once you log on to post office web, and it states Australia i was told it had arrived at its destination.

Not true! it has only arrived in Aus!
i was told other than that you couldn't track it in the country!

i have however emailed our case officer on the chance that she might tell us as the site says "they dont usually reply"

its very frustrating though because if i was given the correct information in the first place i would have sent it signed for and tracked!

hope we hear soon, might be worth trying to email and see if they respond

good luck chuck!

Thumbs down Re: sending post to OZ

Hiya,
I sent some forms off to Civic Compliance (got caught speeding in oct )on the 28th Dec 2005 they were sent via Royal Conmen, sorry Mail International Signed for, and no-one knows where they went, cos they never arrived in Victoria. Next time I will send them via courier, cos Royal Mail are crap.
Lesson Learned,
Sorry to be a party pooper!
