I think the DVD is a great idea.

I've also has success with Picassa (part of Google) which sends an email to your parents and they only have to click the link in the email and it takes them to a website of your pics. Also its free

We use photobox. Pay with UK credit card with UK billing address. I've also ordered cards and such like from this site.

I also have my own website using my mac computer. The applications that come with macs are dead simple (i could deal with more complex but this is very easy and quick to get a grip of). I pay for the subscription but at the click of a few buttons I can publish my albums and then just hit notify a friend. All they have to do the other end is click on the link in the email. Very straight forward.

Thanks to all for the advice. I used Tesco in the end, though it was a slow process and only once I (finally) reached the payment page did I realise that I needed a UK credit card !

Your advice also reminded me that we bought both grandparents digital photo frames last year - so an updated memory stick will also make the journey soon.

we send debs mum ( 75 and not a chance with a pc ) pictures on dvd using nero ( comes free with most new pcs )
all she does is pop them in the dvd player and watches them on the telly
if you also burn a data disc ( same program ) this can be taken to any photo shop / lab and printsrun off as required
