Apologies if this has been discussed before but I've a newbie question.

I hoping to be in Sydney by Sep this year but I will still have a property over here that I am renting out. If I choose to sell it at a later date can I do so from Sydney or will I have to return to the UK for signing the contract etc.

You can do it from Sydney, but see a UK Solicitor and get a Power of Attorney signed before you leave.

Alternatively it can be done by courier, but then this is subject to postal delays.

I sold from Sydney using a Power of Attorney with my UK solicitor.
