Rog and Deb is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Selling Land/HIFX

Early 2006 we purchased land in Bunbury whilst validating our Visas with a plan to move in 2009 - things have significantly changed since then and we are now having to think of pos selling the land - could someone advise us as to what costs will be incurred in selling (Agents, tax etc). -

Could I also pose the following question aswell.......... we recently committed to buying Aus dollars through HIFX (Forward Purchase) due to settle in July.... as our circs have changed can we settle our account with them and have them forward funds to our British (Virgin) account or does it have to go to Aus? Ta

With HIFX you can settle early, but there could be a small charge (interest rates difference) so if you are thinking of settling early, you could profit from the transaction, if you can settle at a rate lower than what you bought at.

Lowest exchange rate is often friday after interest rates news or any news that implies lower interest rates, eg next thursday 4th Dec
