Default selling endowments

We have decided to sell our endowments or cash in.

Does anyone have any knowledge to whom we should/could sell to.

Which companies etc buy them??
We have been given a quote for cashing them in but I wonder if we could get more selling them???

Look forward to your recommendations

Cheers BooBoo

Here's a site to start with:
http://www.moneyextra.com/investment/teps/index.htm

And a list you might find helpful:
http://www.aap.co.uk/
http://www.bealedobie.co.uk/home.htm
http://www.foster-and-cranfield.co.uk/
http://www.teps.co.uk/
http://www.neville-james.co.uk/
http://www.policyportfolio.co.uk/
http://www.policyplus.com/
http://www.surrendalink.co.uk/

Though this definitely isn't a recommendation to sell your policies, you understand ...

Best regards.

Guide to selling endowments.

Hope they are of some use.

I got all the money back from mine by complaining to Barclays. Paid £13k in and it was only worth £6k

Easy procedure to claim for mis-sold. Glad I did.

My hubby is thinking of selling his to his mum, and her keeping it on for him. But we know that we would get taxed heavily on this

Default endowments

Thanks Everyone

we were going to keep them going for the duration ( ten more years) then our daughter would be 18. We were going to give her the money to buy a house. But as has been mentioned the tax payment on them would have been totally ridiculous.
There sell them we shall.

we got the best price for ours off the company who we took them out with. we sold them back, with a loss of course. worse thing we ever did was take out endowments, total rip off.

You are all talking about taxes if you keep them on.

What taxes do you mean? I thought endowments gave you a tax free lump sum when they reach full term, to pay off your outstanding debt (allegedly).
