www.nqrentals.com.au

however we were not completely satisfied. old campervan and not in a good
condition we paid 69aud /day plus full cover about 17aud /day. in the 5
weeks weve been there we had 3 campervans, they changed the cars whitout
problems. but we lost a few days changing the car , so take precautions if
you hire from NQ and ask for( at the moment of making the contract ) newer
cars.

Hello,

You might be interested to know that my company
www.world-car-rental.net are hiring
RAV4's at the moment for AU$137.50
per day if the vehicle is hired for 7 days. If you hire the vehicle
for over 21 days this drops down to AU$106.25 per day.

Although the automated booking system isn't online for Australia yet -
we're rolling out countries as fast as we can! - an e-mail will
confirm these prices and can book the car, and the price also includes
a 10% discount for booking in October.

Let me know if you need any further information.

Regards

From the Around Aust Motorhomes website:

http://www.aamotorhomes.com.au/d-
etails.html

Gives the whole story in regard to Insurance, full cover,

INSURANCE
Insurance is a mandatory charge that provides comprehensive cover. NB:
Insurance rates for four wheel drive vehicles are higher than campervans and
motorhomes.

Both CDW Protection Package and (CPP) Maximum Protection Package DO NOT
COVER any type of water damage, ie: vehicle immersion or salt water damage.

Around Australia Motorhomes reserves the right to restrict vehicle movements
and insurance level availability in certain areas due to adverse road or
weather conditions.

BOND DEPOSIT
A deposit is required for all vehicles at time of pick up. On return of the
vehicle, provided no accident or damage has occurred, the vehicle is
completely clean with fuel and gas tanks full, then the deposit will be
returned to the renter. Payments made via credit card.

None of my cards- gold or platinum visa mastercard or AMEX will cover
Camper vans. They will cover rental cars but not campers of 4 wheel
drives. I tried to find a card that would but with no luck. I am in
the states so you might be able to get coverage if you are in another
country. I ended up paying the extra 30 a day and was very happy that
I had it when the road train launched a rock through the windshield.
Please let me know if you find a card that covers this

Hi there, you mentioned that you paid the extra. Who did you pay, I mean what company did you hire from?
