We moved to Secret Harbour from Melbourne 2 weeks ago and LOVE IT!!
Got the kids into Comet Bay College (they're 14 & 13) and they seem OK. My 7 yr old started Comet Bay Primary and really loves it
The best move we ever made!

Front page of Saturdays' West reckons that prices have dropped in 118 Perth suburbs including Secret Harbour which they say has dropped by 8.4%. Mind you that is on the back of a 34% rise. Still don't give up hope of finding something when you get here, there are more and more houses going up for sale each week and a few with 'reduced to sell' on the ads. According to local estate agents owners are willing to take offers, I was advise by the sellers agent of a home we looked at to put in an offer 45k under the asking price.

Must say we arrived here two weeks ago and trying to find a rental alone is starting to be difficult. Have looked at two today and will be putting applications in but don't hold out much hope. If anyone hears of a rental coming up in the area I would be grateful if you could let me know. Desperation is setting in at the moment. We are going to look at another this afternoon in Port Kennedy so fingers crossed. Will let you all know how it goes. Using an internet cafe at the moment in Mandurah so will pop back in a couple of days. Cheers everyone.
