I made the previous statement without reading the link but I still think he and the other dinosaurs will put the mockers on it even if we do all vote to have it. The no lobby are very vocal and totally blind to common sense. Peter Beattie may not go the cows not producing milk and furniture fading route but he does believe the state's children will never sleep again and will therefore fail at school through tiredness.

Ahhhh.....the old daylight savings debate!!!!!
Being an australian, I can tell you that this is a well rehearsed drama that happens EVERY year during the spring.
It would be easier to sort out the West Bank than to resolve whether QLD should get daylight savings.
