And VIC and other states to get DST a month earlier- from 2008! Great news.

I made the previous statement without reading the link but I still think he and the other dinosaurs will put the mockers on it even if we do all vote to have it. The no lobby are very vocal and totally blind to common sense. Peter Beattie may not go the cows not producing milk and furniture fading route but he does believe the state's children will never sleep again and will therefore fail at school through tiredness.

And the chickens, don't forget the poor chickens, bursting with those eggs that they can't lay cos they don't know what time it is......

Ahhhh.....the old daylight savings debate!!!!!

Being an australian, I can tell you that this is a well rehearsed drama that happens EVERY year during the spring.

It would be easier to sort out the West Bank than to resolve whether QLD should get daylight savings.
