could anyone please tell me what time school starts and finishes in brisbane and what are the school terms as my 8&10 year olds are wondering how early they have to get up thanx sarah

I think that times of starting and finishing depend on the school.

Monday - Friday 8.30 - 3.00.

My daughter's school times are from 8.30 am til 2.50 pm.

One thing that struck me when she first started school here was how cute the little kids all look with their backpacks and esky - really weighted down on their way to school - but at least you know their lunch will be cold!

Little lunch and big lunch were also terms that perplexed me, having just got used to smoko at my fiance's work - but I don't suppose they can have smoko at a school and if they did, I'm guessing it would be BIG smoko and Little smoko
