I have managed to reserve a flight to Christchurch through Bridge travel for £699 including a Stopover in Singapore. Not travelling until 18 August - the prices seem to be lower from this date (Singapore Airlines).

Another quick question, do you know if Malaysia have a frequent flyers reward program with Air Miles equivilant.
With all these miles, we may be entitled to some free flights later on.

Why Malaysian? We usually use Trailfinders to fly to Oz and they quoted near enough to the same price recently for Singapore or Malaysia - cheap too.
Might be worth giving them a ring.
Good luck. If you're not paying for a seat for your little one then it's worth trying the skycot if you can get around the weight restriction - might be able to curl up in it! If not, at least you get the bulkhead seats then...
