Hi there
My name is Carole, we have been thinking about emigrating to Australia but are unsure about the possibility of obtaining a work visa. My husband is a scaffolder so we would be grateful of any feedback from any scaffolders that have moved out there and what opportunities they found.
Many thanks
Looking forward to reading your replies!!!!!!

Sorry I cant answer your question, we are looking at house building and all builders quote stupid prices if a 2 storey " its the price of scaffolding" so I suggest brings loads of scaffolding and you will be ok.
At least this answer bumps up your question.

Hi,
Well I was a scaffolder for 9 years but had to change my trade to get residency as scaffolding is not a recognised trade for migration purposes.
As for work.I did a years scaffolding over in Qld a few years back and got a job with the 1st company I phoned 'Tube and fitting mate, can you start tomorrow'
