Sarcoidosis
Apparently, this is what they figure i have in my chest.
Went to hospital last night to see the consultant.
It is inflamation in the glands and can go completely undetected and run it's course.
I am told that it could have completely disappeared within two years without any medication. Or it could develop and turn into something a little more nasty.
Therfor, i will need to have x-rays every 6 months or so to keep tabs on it.
They don't know for sure yet if it IS sarcoidosis so i have to attend a ctscan and a further appointment with the consultant.
The appointment has been booked for the 12th august.
We are due to fly on the 16th.
Basically, it's fingers crossed for the next few weeks hoping that it IS sarcoidosis because if the ctscan shows it NOT to be then they will want to do biopsy on it, and further tests.
Finish work on friday.
Took today off due to ones head resembling a large green vegetable.
Paul.

Hi Paul
Fingers crossed for you, do you think it is possible for a family to immigrate without a major drama first. I've yet to hear of one, us included. Perhaps there's someone from dimia testing out our strength of character before they'll let us thru'
Best of luck, hope all goes well with scan.

Paul,
Got to agree with Stan.
You have to try hard to remain positive and focused.
Easy for me to say but it's what I have always tried to do in life.
Best of luck to you mate.

Thanks.
We've got just about everything crossed at the moment.
I'm not that worried about myself though, it's ann-marie and the kids that i worry for, we're living in a caravan and every penny we have is sat in the bank slowly being eaten away at.As of friday i'll be unemployed and if the ctscan shows something else then that money will be going on further rent etc.
Kinda scary.
Also not sure about the " insurance" side of things once in aus because believe me, this is a hurdle and nothing else.
Thanks for your comments.
