Default Salary packaging

I am looking for contact details of finacial advisors who can help with salary packaging issues, the company I will be working for in Canberra offers this as part of the job and i would like to get some info on the subject before I start working for them.
Or if anyone out there is using a similar scheme then your experiences of it would be useful.

Go for it, it keeps the taxman at bay. Many companies do it out here, its not a scam.

If you are planning to act as assurer for relatives or friends (migrating to Australia) further down the line, then also consider this point.

Some people who package their salary too much find themselves unable to meet the income requirements for a mandatory assurance of support.

Salary packaging is a pretty complex area. Generally its a good way of supplementing your salary and its becoming widely used in Australia in the public sector, where absolute salaries are lower than the private sector. Employers offer salary packaging to try to enhance the overall package. I did some work for these guys when I was in Australia, and I think there is some reasonably useful literature on their site....

Whereas celery packaging is mainly clingfilm.
