Indeed but in order of preference it would be: Sister, Bride and then mum. Looks like dirty Harry might have got to the sister first though.

Well, we had Broncos tickets (season ones) so we were there but I will admit to taping it so I could see it when I got in.

At the end of the day does it matter how much was spent, what was said, done etc etc ...the main thing is 2 people who loved each other were married. I like that William said to KAtes Dad "This was supposed to be a small family affair!!"
COngrats to them both, heres hoping 8 years together has put Catherine in the right place to be able to deal with the royal family pressure.

I think they are the uks greatest asset (and I'm welsh!). they bring far more revenue into britain than goes outm, the queen has never put a foot wrong and works very hard. Prince William seems to do his bit for society as a whole.

I'd do Kate's sister, Kate's mum and Kate too.

In that order?

Carol being the Dark Horse here. Maybe she could do her "Doors to Manual" routine.

Assuming this is in rapid succession, blow ballast with the first, then have to work a bit harder with the last. You'll appreciate it more.

Oh, and yay! to double bank holidays

I would imagine that with the natural disasters much of the world has had over the past 12 months they would be quite envious of that mild and calm British weather. No earthquakes, tzunamis, cyclones, floods, tornadoes, bush fires, droughts for you guys.

However funny you think The Chaser are (my opinion is Not Very) it is yet another reason not to watch 2 irrelevant doomed twits get hitched.

Bad news on the Vim homefront, the original plan for the OH and kid to watch it at the MILs has fallen through ... Going to try for Broncos tickets ...

The Chaser could have sent a film crew to London and used there own footage of the day for the show but i guess that costs money (i know they would not have been allowed inside WA) It is totally understandable for someone not to want there wedding ceremony to be openly mocked. Most people in the UK make jokes about the royal family and nothing wrong with that. Many Australian tried to make out that we need to get a sense of humour about it to which i replied " i am looking forward to the Chasers live commentary from the Dawn Service on Anzac Day.

Nice attempt at an Anzac analogy ... it's a fine argument until you realise there are many elements of a royal wedding that should be questioned and mocked and there are none regarding the Dawn Service.

Having seen what was produced maybe it was good that we were saved from the Chasers commentary. They were not on good form.

...and I though the royals were a reserved bunch

The little girl is covering her ears in horror.
Who can supply the speech bubble for what William is saying in this picture....

I haven't seen the Chasers except the odd clip, but judged on that they are a totally unfunny, infantile group on the level of third form practical jokers. Satire isn't easy to do well and unless it's intelligent, well researched and brilliantly carried out it's merely embarassing.

I didn't see the wedding apart from a few minutes on ABC but what I did see was wonderfully organised and very well shown by the Beeb - a credit to all concerned.
