Rockingham / Port Kennedy meet up

Hello
We have been here just over a month and would like to meet up with anyone in the area. We are with two kids, Kieron (11) and Katie (8). We are living in the Port Kennedy area.

we must have arrived about the same sort of time as you,26th feb, we are in warnbro so just up the road, and have 3 kids-Jake (13), Zak (11) and Chloe (9),two younger ones are at Warnbro primary and older at Warnbro Community High, where are yours going? feeling a bit billy no mates, would be good to have contact with someone in the same boat.

We arrived here 8th February and living in Secret Harbour, just down the road.
If anyone is organising a meet I'll be there with the kids. Lia (5) and Georgia (4). OH will no doubt be working so just me.

sounds good idea to me, there doesn't seem to be much as far as meet ups go down this side of the river!!! any sugestions???

not sure what to suggest?? beach, aquajetty, park, coffee shop???? quite a nice range of kids ages, school hols at the mo too.

As long as there is something for my little "angels" to do to keep them occupied
. My suggestion would be a park but not sure if it would be any good for the older kids.

If you would like the token aussie to join in, I can reccomend a lovely park in central Rockingham. Turn off Read street at Hungry Jacks and take the second left (near the Hoyts cinema) then just follow around till you see the park. Take the kids scooters or bikes, very nice tracks for them to ride, swings, ducks to feed etc.
I could also give you some advice on what's what in the area and help introduce you to some people too,

Anywhere's good with me.....and don't worry about my older kids, they're boys, they'll bring a football and cricket stuff and will be well happy

We've been in Rockingham for 2 months - don't really know anyone yet. I'll come on Thursday if I can, it'll be just me, no kids, OH working. I'm having lunch that day down by beach with couple of expats from Fremantle so depends on time.
